We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Orthodontist to join our reputable dental practice. Duties
* Conduct comprehensive examinations of patients’ teeth, jaws, and facial structures to assess orthodontic needs.
* Develop personalised treatment plans incorporating the latest orthodontic techniques, including the utilisation of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) systems.
* Design and implement customised orthodontic appliances such as braces, aligners, and retainers.
* Utilise medical imaging tools to diagnose and monitor treatment progress accurately.
* Monitor patient progress throughout treatment, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices related to orthodontic appliances and overall dental health.
* Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
* Maintain detailed records of patient treatments in compliance with regulatory standards.
* Stay informed about advancements in orthodontic technology and techniques through continuous professional development.
Qualifications
* Fully qualified Orthodontist with recognised certification or registration within the UK.
* Proven experience in designing and applying orthodontic appliances using CAD technology.
* Strong knowledge of human anatomy, particularly relating to facial bones and dental structures.
* Proficiency in interpreting medical imaging such as X-rays, 3D scans, and other diagnostic tools.
* Prior experience working with digital design software for orthodontic appliance creation is desirable.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly to patients of all ages.
