We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Support Worker to join our team in SEND and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) schools. You will provide tailored support to students, promoting their emotional wellbeing, social development, and learning engagement. This role is ideal for individuals with a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young people with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver one-to-one and group therapeutic support under guidance from teachers and SENCOs.
* Support students in managing emotions, building social skills, and developing coping strategies.
* Assist in implementing individualised behaviour and support plans.
* Collaborate with school staff, families, and external professionals to ensure consistent support.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to the evaluation of interventions.
About You
* Experience working with children or young people in educational or therapeutic settings.
* Understanding of SEND, SEMH, or related needs.
* Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 3 in Health & Social Care, Education, or equivalent) are desirable.
