Overview
Regional Planning Administrator - Leicester at Volvo Trucks. Based in Bardon, Leicester. Salary up to £27,500 p.a. dependent upon your skill set and experience. Working Monday to Friday 08:00–16:00 (1/2 hr unpaid lunch).
We are looking for a dedicated and organized Regional Planning Administrator to join the regional planning team. The successful candidate will support regional planning processes, coordinate planning activities, and provide administrative assistance to the team. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Be Doing
* Liaise with customers directly to assist with planning maintenance and repairs.
* Work closely with the Workshop team to provide relevant and accurate information, ensuring customer expectations are managed.
* Clarify the basis for repairs (Retail/Warranty/Contract) for customers and the workshop.
* Obtain customer agreement by communicating the benefits of identified repair solutions in a professional manner.
* Produce and explain repair orders to customers during the planning stage.
* Maintain customer contact information in workshop planner, CM, and VDA systems.
* Ensure resources (labour and parts) are available in advance of scheduled work.
* Manage bookings for courtesy cars and coordinate delivery and waiting; ensure active campaigns are allocated to repair orders.
* Manage contractual and non-contractual vehicle alerts and liaise with customers or dealers accordingly.
* Ensure proposed work is correctly specified based on standard IMPACT content and converted to GDS quotes; convert quotes into repair orders.
* Ensure authorised work is properly coded on the repair order before handover to the workshop.
Who You Are / What You Will Require
* Customer service skills with the ability to liaise and communicate with customers.
* Strong background in administration or a customer-focused role.
* Ability to work in a team or independently, building rapport with clients and colleagues.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Good level of IT literacy.
* Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
