About the Role
As a Head of Inclusive Learning and Student Support with EKC Training, you will lead and develop an inclusive support service that enables learners with additional needs to achieve their full potential, both within education and in the workplace. You will oversee the day‑to‑day management of the provision, ensuring high‑quality support is embedded across study programmes, apprenticeships, and training opportunities, contributing positively to learner success, wellbeing, independence and progression.
Working closely with curriculum teams, employers, support staff, parents/carers and external agencies, you will help create inclusive learning and working environments where learners feel supported and empowered to succeed. You will lead and develop a dedicated team, promote high standards of practice, and ensure support strategies are responsive to the individual needs of learners across a range of settings.
You will also play a key role in driving continuous improvement across the provision, ensuring Inclusive Learning Support remains learner‑focused, effective and aligned to EKC Training’s commitment to inclusion, opportunity and student success.

About You
We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward‑thinking Head of Inclusive Learning and Student Support to lead and develop high‑quality support for learners with a wide range of additional needs across both education and workplace settings.
You will bring experience of supporting learners with special educational needs within education, training or apprenticeship environments, alongside a strong understanding of Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) processes and provision. A teaching qualification would be advantageous, as would experience of leading or managing a team.
With a collaborative and proactive approach, you will be confident in inspiring and developing staff, driving high standards, and creating inclusive learning and working environments where learners can thrive. You will also be skilled in working with employers, curriculum teams and support staff to ensure learners receive the tailored support they need to succeed, progress and develop independence throughout their training journey.
