Legal Secretary – Employment Team
Location: Leeds **Hybrid working available**
Salary: Competitive + benefits
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to fee earners within the Employment team.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing correspondence and documents via digital dictation
* Advanced document production (track changes, styles, cross-referencing, house style)
* Maintaining and updating the case management system
* Opening new client instructions and assisting with billing
* Preparing court bundles and supporting documentation
* Proofreading legal documents and correspondence
* Assisting with internal and external event organisation
* Managing diaries and travel arrangements
* General administrative duties such as scanning, filing, archiving, and photocopying
* Liaising with clients in a professional and courteous manner
About You
* We are looking for candidates with prior experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within an Employment team or another fast-paced legal discipline.
* Supervisory experience would be advantageous, as there is scope for this role to develop into one with team leadership responsibilities.
