The Stepstone Group is seeking an innovative and experienced VP of Technology who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our engineering delivery and operations for our Marketplace Enablement portfolio. This portfolio is where our engineers build the technology that matches talent and recruiters and deliver advanced search capabilities, based on the latest AI techniques available on the market. The role will therefore have a particular focus on advancing and scaling our AI capabilities. As a member of the executive team, youll play a crucial role in shaping our product strategy and technological vision.
Your responsibilities:
* Lead and mentor a large multi-country team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
* Develop and implement cutting-edge search and AI technologies to enhance our product offerings.
* Collaborate closely with product management teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives.
* Drive architectural decisions and ensure scalability, performance, and security of our systems.
* Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for multiple concurrent projects.
* Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain our competitive edge.
* Represent the engineering department in executive-level meetings and decision-making processes.
Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field; Masters degree preferred.
* 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
* Proven track record in developing and implementing search technologies and AI solutions.
* Proven track record delivering multi-product/multi-tenant systems at scale.
* Proficient in agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and grow high-performing engineering teams.
