Supply Planner - FMCG
Location: Near Slough – Hybrid working (3 days per week in the office)
Salary: £48,000 to £52,000 per annum dependent on experience

In this role, you’ll work within the Supply Chain function, collaborating with planners across the department and reporting to the Supply Planning Manager. You’ll be part of a wider Operations team that manages sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, customer service, warehousing and logistics, all focused on aligning demand and supply efficiently, sustainably and with strong service performance.

Key Responsibilities:
* Enhance customer service levels while balancing inventory efficiency
* Detect and mitigate service issues by monitoring stock shortages and implementing preventive measures
* Collaborate with demand planners and customer-facing teams to create optimal supply plans
* Liaise closely with central supply planning teams in the EU to address local supply requirements
* Act as the local Supply Chain Planning team's representative to central planning functions, translating central risks into local impacts
* Ensure transparency and clarity in Supply Chain Performance, effectively communicating this to the business and central Supply Chain
* Contribute to and support financial targets
* Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, and aging stock, proposing improvement actions with stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
* Enhance and maintain customer service levels
* Manage stock (coverage, aging, quality, cost, reconciliation)
* Identify, analyse, and resolve service risks
* Communicate product availability versus demand
* Oversee the phase-in and phase-out of SKUs
* Manage quality issues
* Provide project support
* Drive continuous improvement
