GP Accounts & Tax Manager Lymington Salary: £50,000 £55,000 per annum We are seeking an experienced GP Accounts & Tax Manager to join our clients Tax team, supporting a portfolio of General Practitioner (GP) clients .

This is a key advisory role combining technical accounting and tax expertise with high-quality client service.
The successful candidate will have proven experience working with GP clients, including NHS Pension Scheme requirements, and will play a vital role in managing compliance, advisory work, and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities Tax Compliance Prepare, review, and file tax returns accurately and within agreed deadlines Ensure compliance with UK tax regulations and internal quality standards Identify and resolve tax-related issues efficiently Maintain clear, accurate working papers to support tax computations GP Accounts & Advisory Manage and review GP accounts Review and submit superannuation certificates Advise GP clients on drawings and withdrawals Submit annual estimates on PCSE Liaise with NHS authorities to obtain AAPSS statements Calculate Annual Allowance positions and complete RPPS reporting and compliance Client Service Build and maintain strong, professional client relationships Communicate clearly, manage expectations, and provide timely advice Team Collaboration Work closely with UK and India-based teams Provide guidance, support, and training on tax processes Be approachable and supportive to colleagues and clients Operational Excellence Effectively manage workloads using prioritisation and task lists Respond promptly to emails and follow up on assigned actions Contribute to process improvements to enhance service delivery Continuous Development Demonstrate a proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn Seek guidance when needed and build confidence in the role Support team development and assist with onboarding and training About You Proven experience working with GP clients (essential) Strong time management and xxuwjjq prioritisation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy Collaborative, professional, and client-focused approach Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) Experience in tax compliance and client advisory work Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations and filing processes Experience with NHS Pension Scheme requirements If you have the skills and experience for this role please apply online ASAP as immediate interviews are available.
