Job Description:
As supervisor, you will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building relationships with both regular and new guests. Developing excellent product knowledge to make menu and drink recommendations that delight our customers, and taking a leading role in training and supervising the team. With an eye for detail, you will work closely with all departments and be responsible for the safe and effective running of shifts, overseeing all aspects of the hotel including the restaurant, bar, and accommodation.
* Supervise and manage the food & beverage team
* Ensure all service areas deliver prompt, professional, and friendly service
* Ensure compliance with licensing and food safety laws
* Implement and guide guests on challenge 25 and responsible drinking policies, accommodating allergies and intolerances
* Monitor customer satisfaction and address feedback
* Handle customer complaints promptly and effectively
* Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth business functioning
* Coordinate with reception, kitchen, and housekeeping departments, covering basic duties if needed
* Complete end-of-shift checks including banking and credit card reconciliation
* Manage emergency responses, including evacuation, first aid, and contacting emergency services
Qualifications:
• Experience managing a team in a hospitality venue
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Strong organizational skills for managing time and team
This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, involving shifts from 06:00 to 00:00, 5 days a week including weekends and bank holidays.
