What you would be involved with:
Strategic Financial Partnership & Advisory
* Act as a finance business partner, providing financial analysis, advice, and guidance to leadership and management teams
* Partner with leadership to enable effective budget ownership and performance tracking
* Monitor financial targets, address variances, and integrate changes into forecasts and reports
Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Monitoring
* Lead budget reviews and contribute to the annual budget process
* Monitor, analyze, and report performance against budgets
* Prepare short- and long-term forecasts, identifying and mitigating financial risks
Financial Operations & Compliance
* Ensure accurate and timely accounting entries (accruals, prepayments, adjustments, reconciliations)
* Manage invoicing, collections, and debt recovery to optimize cash flow
* Maintain and improve financial systems, policies, and procedures in alignment with compliance standards
* Deliver financial training to operational staff as needed
Experience and Knowledge Requirements
* CIMA/ACCA/ACA part qualified.
* 2+ years' as a business partner to budget holders.
* Demonstrated experience producing budgets, forecasts, management accounts, and variance analysis.
* Advanced Excel skills and experience using financial systems (Xero preferred)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to challenge and influence decision-makers.
