Robert Half is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing client in Haverhill for a Temporary Process Operative to join their team immediately.This is a hands-on role within the Stores and Operations department, offering an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with the possibility of extension beyond the initial 3-month assignment.The RoleReporting to the Day Team Supervisor, you will support daily operational activities across stores, shipping, documentation, and material handling functions while ensuring high standards of safety, accuracy, and customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out operational tasks in accordance with company procedures and work instructionsBooking material movements accurately within SAPIssuing paperwork for the loading and unloading of tankers, lorries, and containersPrinting stock, shipping, sample, and product labelsSupporting shipment and dispatch activitiesSampling and labelling finished products and raw materialsMaintaining accurate documentation and operational recordsProviding excellent internal and external customer serviceReporting any operational issues or discrepancies promptly to managementLearning and developing skills to support changing business requirementsAbout YouPrevious experience within manufacturing, production, stores, warehouse, or process operationsSAP experience would be advantageousStrong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accuratelyComfortable working in a physically active environment involving some manual handlingGood communication and teamwork skillsA proactive and reliable approach to workDangerous goods knowledge or training is beneficial but not essentialRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
