UNIVERSITY OF CHESTER – SPORT AND ACTIVE LIFESTYLE – SPORT COACH - BADMINTON (TEMPORARY UNTIL APRIL 2026) – £25 PER HOUR – PART-TIME
As part of our growing coaching team, we’re excited to recruit a Badminton Club Coach to support our well-established and ambitious Badminton Club. The men’s team competes in BUCS Northern Tier 4, while the women compete in Northern Tier 3. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with university athletes and make a meaningful impact on both participation and competitive sport. Whether you’re newly qualified or looking to build your coaching experience, this role offers the chance to work with university students and contribute to participation and performance.
As a sports coach, you’ll support enthusiastic players of all abilities and help shape the future of sport at Chester. Clubs train twice a week, and coaches are asked to commit to attending at least one session weekly. Final training days and times will be confirmed shortly.
Responsibilities
* Support the Badminton Club players of all abilities and help develop participation and performance.
* Attend at least one training session per week; training times to be agreed with the club in the coming weeks.
* Support the men’s team in BUCS Northern Tier 4 and the women’s team in BUCS Northern Tier 3.
* Collaborate with the coaching team to provide a positive and inclusive sporting experience for university athletes.
Requirements
* Minimum qualification: Club Coach (Level 1).
* Availability to coach at least one session per week.
* Training times to be agreed with the club in the coming weeks.
