This role is well suited to an engineer with a solid offshoreenergybackground who enjoys technical problem-solving, working closely with project teams, and gradually taking on increased responsibility as part of a supportive engineering environment.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Analysis Engineer,you’llbe involved in the delivery of high-qualitydesign andanalysis work across multiple projects, working closely with Lead Engineers and Project Managers. Your role will include:
* Delivering analysis work in support of projects, tenders, and internal studies
* Supporting offshore mooringdesignand installation analysis, from early-stagefeasibilityand conceptthrough to offshore execution
* Preparing analysis deliverables in line with company processes, industry standards, and client requirements
* Reviewing analysis work produced by other engineers and subcontractors, where appropriate
* Supporting project teams by tracking progress against schedules and highlighting technical or delivery risks
* Working collaboratively with Project Managers, Package Engineers, and other disciplines
* Providing technical input to site and offshore teams, responding to engineering queries asrequired
* Attending site or offshore locations when needed to support operational activities
* Supporting the development and improvement ofdesign andanalysis tools, templates, and workflows
* Contributing to technical reviews, workshops, and lessons-learned sessions
Qualifications
* A degree in a relevant engineering discipline
* 5+ years’ relevant industry experience within offshore engineering
* A strong background in offshore mooringdesign, installationanalysisandoffshoresupport
* Good working knowledge of relevant legislation, codes, and standards
* Significant experienceusingOrcaFlexfor theanalysisofvarious offshoreactivities includingtowing,mooringinstallation andhook up(experience withstructuredeployment,flexible, umbilical, or rigid pipelines is a plus)
* Familiarity with Mathcad for engineering calculations
* Comfortable using standard software such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Experience using Python for scripting or automationisbeneficial
* Offshore experience supporting installation or mooring scopes
* Able to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team
* Clear communication skills and an organised approach to your work
