About the Role
You will be responsible for providing professional in-field support by performing health evaluations, installation & startup services, product training, warranty support, periodic maintenance, and repairs of mixing equipment. This is a customer facing position and requires strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills along with a commitment to service excellence.
About Your Responsibilities
You will spend approximately 75% of your time travelleng to customer sites, this could be based locally in the UK, Ireland or across European countries. International travel outside of Europe may occasionally be required. You will be representing SPX Flow performing health evaluations, installation & startup services, product training, warranty support, periodic maintenance, and in-field repairs of mixing equipment. Sometimes this will require traveling on short notice, for extended periods to meet customer or organization needs. Occasional travel for up to 3 weeks duration and weekends or holidays may be required.
What Do You Need
1. Must be very mechanically inclined.
2. Must bring own set of hand tools. Specialty tools will be provided.
3. Computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite & SAP preferred.
4. Excellent customer service skills and experience working directly with customers.
5. Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to read and interpret maintenance and repair manuals and manufacturing drawings.
7. Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow processes and procedures.
8. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
9. Effective communication skills required to effectively interact with internal and external customers.
10. Ability to obtain a passport, TSA precheck, and other certifications as required.
11. Home residence within 75 KM of a major airport is preferred.
