With over 900 vehicles in group stock and nearly 9,000 units sold each year, we are looking for a highly organised, motivated and creative Photographer & Vehicle Preparation Administrator to support our Colchester and Cambridge locations. This role is essential to ensuring our vehicles reach the market quickly, look exceptional online, and meet the high presentation standards of our franchises. About the Role This is a hands-on, location-based role responsible for managing the movement, preparation, photography and online presentation of all new and used vehicles coming into stock and being advertised on our websites. Working across both Colchester and Cambridge, you will ensure every vehicle is: ✔ Processed efficiently through preparation and valeting ✔ Photographed to a high visual standard (minimum 40 images per car) ✔ Filmed for an online walkaround video ✔ Uploaded accurately to the Dealer Management System ✔ Presented correctly on site, with updated price boards/spec sheets ✔ Displayed in accordance with each franchise brand’s requirements This is a fast-paced, physical and admin-based hybrid role ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, working with vehicles and using digital systems but who is computer literate, quick and efficient. Key Responsibilities Vehicle Preparation Coordination Manage the flow of used vehicles arriving into stock Book vehicles into valeting and mechanical preparation immediately Track progress to ensure rapid turnaround times Work closely with the Sales Management team to prioritise urgent vehicles Photography & Video Carry out full exterior and interior photography, minimum 40 images per vehicle in accordance with guidelines for display Ensure images meet franchise and group quality standards Capture walkaround videos for advertising Upload all media to the Dealer Management System in a timely manner Stock Display & Forecourt Management Move vehicles safely around the site to designated display areas Refresh and update vehicle price boards, point-of-sale and spec sheets Ensure forecourts are presented professionally and meet manufacturer standards Monitor parking layout and ensure stock is correctly rotated and displayed Administration & Digital Tasks Update all used and new vehicle records on the DMS Upload stock imagery for new cars when weather prevents photography Ensure all keys are clearly labelled, stored securely and easily accessible Maintain accurate status records for vehicle readiness, location and imagery The Ideal Candidate You will thrive in this role if you are: Highly organised with strong time management Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons Able to operate cameras, smartphones, and DMS systems confidently Interested in automotive presentation and marketing Able to multitask across physical and administrative duties Confident moving vehicles around site (full UK driving licence essential) Creative with an eye for visual detail A proactive communicator who can work closely with Sales and Valeting teams Experience in photography, automotive admin, forecourt display or digital listings is desirable but not essential — full training will be provided.
