I'm recruiting for a Client Account Manager to join a well‑structured, collaborative finance team operating in a fully digital, cloud‑based environment. This is a hands‑on role with responsibility for managing a varied client portfolio while supporting junior team members and working closely with senior management.

The Role
* Manage a portfolio of clients including limited companies and sole traders
* Act as the main day‑to‑day point of contact for clients
* Work within a pod structure (typically 4-5 people), reporting into a senior manager
* Review and oversee bookkeeping work completed by junior team members
* Prepare VAT returns, statutory accounts and tax returns
* Assist with and prepare management accounts and financial reporting
* Ensure all client deadlines are met and work is delivered to a high standard
* Liaise with internal team members to manage workflow and resolve queries
* Support, mentor and develop junior members of the team
* Contribute to tax planning and advisory work where appropriate

What I'm Looking For
* Circa 5 years' experience within an accountancy practice
* ACA / ACCA qualified, part‑qualified or QBE
* Confident, hands‑on user of Xero (not just exposure)
* Strong experience working with cloud‑based accounting tools
* Excellent written and verbal English, essential for client communication
* Comfortable reviewing work, providing guidance and supporting junior staff
* Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple client deadlines
