Project Delivery Officer (Health & Justice Learning Hub)

A new and unique opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled project support to join Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) as a Project Delivery Officer in our Health & Justice Services.

This role will be part of the core team in the newly established Health & Justice Learning Hub. The Hub is responsible for co‑ordinating, enhancing and developing innovative approaches to learning across the London Prisons and criminal justice system pathways.

The Hub's focus is on serious safety incidents, with a particular focus on deaths in custody (including harm to self and suicide), with the aim of learning from and improving the response to these.

The role will be based in the Gordon Hospital in London, the home of CNWL's Health & Justice Learning Hub, but will also work across London Prison sites and other parts of the criminal justice system.


Main duties of the job

* The post holder will:
o Work as part of the core team to support and help deliver critical programmes for the newly developed Health and Justice Learning Hub.
o Work closely with our partnerships team to manage formal and informal partnerships within the hub.
o Co‑ordinate the governance and reporting requirements of the Health and Justice learning hub.
o Attend and play an active part in the Learning hub team meetings, commissioner reviews and stakeholder engagement and governance meetings.

Job responsibilities

Please note: This vacancy does not meet the criteria for Skilled Worker sponsorship, unless you meet the criteria by temporary exemption from current changes to immigration rules put in force on 22/07/2025. Separate provisions are applied to workers who have been sponsored and held continuously Skilled Worker visa since prior to 04/04/2024.

Person Specification


Qualifications

* Degree or equivalent experience
* Evidence of ongoing continuous professional development


Experience

* Project delivery experience within a healthcare setting, preferably in H&J settings
* Experience of change management processes and methods acquired through training or experience
* Experience of working with groups of staff and patients across health communities, including working with senior clinicians and healthcare leaders
* Competent with software packages (e.g. MS Excel, Project, Visio etc.)
* Able to use collaboration software (e.g. MS Teams, Zoom etc.)
* Knowledge and understanding of HJLH transformational priorities set out in the Service Specification
* Knowledge and understanding of national, regional and local requirements to continuously improve quality and safety within H&J Services
* Experience of project management from initial design to completion


Skills

* Strong organisational and planning skills. Able to deliver agreed objective within an agreed timeframe
* Team working skills - able to work as a key member of small teams to achieve results, including able to encourage collaborative working to improve services and performance particularly where there is resistance to change
* Excellent presentation and communication skills and ability to present complex project plans at an appropriate level for the audience concerned
* Able to manage and relate complex and highly sensitive information to all levels of staff within the organisation
* Ability to write clear and concise documents.
* Evidence of financial/budgetary management and monitoring skills
