Health, Safety and Environmental Coordinator

The Wernick Group is seeking a highly motivated individual to maintain and support the administration of the group health, safety, and environmental management systems. In this newly created role, they will assist with organising safety advisor training days, audit schedules, safety committee meetings, regional management meetings, and any other such events that require the attendance of the health and safety team.
A high level of enthusiasm, drive and organisational skills are required to make a success of this permanent full-time position.

* Keep insurance up to date
* Ensure H&S documents are the up-to-date versions
* Accreditations
Subcontractor Comms
* Issue safety alerts
* Organise inductions and re-inductions
Incident Investigations
* Have a single point of contact for all incident notifications and ensure the appropriate advisor is notified.
* Ensuring agreed actions from investigations are recorded and closed out.
General office duties
* Taking minutes at meetings
* Performing proofreading of reports and documents
* Organising travel and accommodation for Head of H&S.
* Recording of completed training and update of PIB
* Collate Evotix data and summary reports to Head of H&S
* Maintain accident incident statistics and collate monthly updates on incidents.
* Maintaining RAMs briefing records and staff training numbers.
Other Tasks
* Assisting with PQQs, accreditations and registrations.
* Any other duties as may be agreed from time to time.
* Any tasks the Group head of Health & Safety deems necessary and appropriate for the role.
Who We Are Looking For
Ideally you will have experience in a similar role or have supported a H & S Team, but as a minimum, we would love someone who has excellent communication skills, with a high level of organisation and able to manage a busy workload autonomously. You should be enthusiastic and driven with a good administration background.
