To start as soon as possible
Are you passionate about education? Do you have the patience, confidence, and adaptability to work one-to-one with students, helping them unlock their potential in Maths and English?
Our students are truly exceptional – intelligent, articulate, funny, and welcoming. They value the support and care they receive, and they deserve nothing less than the very best. We are committed to ensuring they experience this consistently, in every aspect of school life, every single day.
We are a true comprehensive school built on strong family values, where everyone is seen, recognised, and valued. This ethos has led us to become one of the most successful and oversubscribed schools in the region. To continue to fulfil our ambitions for our students, we are seeking outstanding casual tutors for Maths and English who are dedicated, passionate, caring, and inspiring.
We firmly believe we have a world-class staff team, and we are excited to welcome casual Maths and English Tutors to support our students’ learning. These roles will involve working with individuals and small groups to deliver targeted support, helping students to build confidence, close gaps in learning, and achieve their full potential. Tutors will play a vital role in ensuring learning continues to be engaging, purposeful, and impactful.
We are looking for tutors who are enthusiastic about their subject, able to build positive relationships with young people, and committed to maintaining high expectations in a supportive learning environment. English tutors will support students following Eduqas and AQA English Language specifications, delivering focused intervention and high-quality academic support aligned with examination requirements.
In return, successful applicants will become part of a school community built on strong family values, where staff are well supported, well resourced, and genuinely appreciated.
Baysgarth School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to apply for enhanced disclosure from the DBS.
