As the Front of House Business Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our Integrated Education Training Centres (IETCs) provide a welcoming, professional, and efficient environment for learners, staff, and visitors. This role is central to delivering high-quality educational events and supporting the Trust’s commitment to excellence in education and training.
The role is based in one of our Hospitals, Monday to Friday. The base site will be agreed with the successful applicant. Travel to all sites will be required.
Main duties of the job
The Front of House Business Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the Front of House Administrators and working with the audio-visual (AV) IT teams across the trust. This role is a key part of the Integrated Education Business Support team and plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Integrated Education Training Centres (IETC). The post holder will lead the delivery of a professional, welcoming front-of-house service that supports both staff and visitors.

The post holder will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the management of event bookings, including sourcing suitable rooms, liaising with attendees, and overseeing all logistical elements to ensure the successful delivery of events and educational sessions within the Integrated Education Training Centres (IETC). This includes managing the room booking system, monitoring usage, and producing reports on activity. Working closely with the Head of Integrated Education Business Management, the post holder will ensure that all venues are fully operational and fit for purpose.
While the primary focus of the role is to lead the front of house team across the IETCs, the post holder will also contribute to routine varied managerial and administrative tasks and support projects as directed by the Head of Education Business Management. These include interpreting policy, regulatory and contractual frameworks for other functions within IE, writing agreements for placements and training at universities and leading on business cases for establishing service level agreements with users across the trust.

1. Degree level or equivalent experience.
