They are known for quick delivery, flexible order quantities, and strong quality standards, serving customers across 60+ cities in India.
The company is now expanding its food packaging business in the United Kingdom and is looking for a Senior Sales professional to lead sales and business development, build distribution channels, onboard traders and supermarkets, and strengthen the market presence of its polymer and packaging products.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Birmingham for a Sales professional specializing in food packaging. Develop and implement sales strategies to expand company’s market presence across the UK. Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with traders, distributors, and supermarkets dealing in polymer and packaging products. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through structured market coverage and strategic business development. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, product demand, pricing trends, and competitor activities. Negotiate commercial terms including payment conditions such as LC (Letter of Credit), Advance Payments, and Credit Terms. Ensure compliance with UK import rules and regulations for smooth operations and delivery processes.
The candidate should currently be based in the UK
Proven sales experience in polymers, plastics, packaging materials, or related industrial products. Strong business acumen with the ability to establish and manage distributor/trader relationships. Sound understanding of international payment methods (LC, advance payments, etc.) and import/export regulations. Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (spoken and written). Ability to work independently across the UK market. Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and European countries as per business requirements.
