We are currently recruiting for a: Trade Counter Supervisor Based: Gransha Road, Bangor About this role: A customer service supervisor based in one of our busy trade centres is an integral role of day to day branch operations. This role will involve a large element of customer engagement through phone calls, emails and face to face interaction ensuring our customers need are met in an efficient and personable manner. Taking pride in delivering what we promise, the role ensures the trade centre is a well presented place ensuring the availability of our full suite of stock to enable us to deliver our customer promise. At the trade counter you will be ensuring both our account and cash sales customers have everything they need to complete their job. Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 17:00, Friday 08:30 – 16:00. Flexibility will be required depending on ad hoc event requirements. We are open to part time / job share options to suit the right applicant(s). CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS: Thursday 6th June Role responsibilities will include: Identify and generate sales opportunities by ensuring the customer has all they need for their job Efficiently processing customer transactions Provide competitive quotations to meet both customer and business needs. Ensuring a high standard of good housekeeping and presentation throughout the store Making sure all goods inwards are checked and put away in the correct location. Maintaining adequate stock levels through on-time ordering Expanding branch product range offering through supplier and customer contacts Adhering to Health & Safety protocols for self and others whilst on site Are you who we are looking for? Suitable candidates will ideally have/ be: Passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience Proven experience within a customer service-based role. Experience in ordering/managing stock Possess strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
