As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our residents are people just like them, with their own stories. Joining us gives you a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals.
Your role involves planning and implementing care that offers residents security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to help deliver personalized care plans.
Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at mealtimes, or communicating with families, kindness is paramount.
You will assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, providing physical and mental stimulation through social activities and administering medication.
Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships.
Ideally, you’ll have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and are willing to work towards Level 3 or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care. Your positive energy, ability to communicate kindly, and good record-keeping are essential.
