Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.
Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.
The new team has three locations: the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing; Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany), considered one of the most modern in Europe; and Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the UK. Our Power Unit is from Neuburg, while Hinwil handles chassis development and race operations with UK support.

This position is based at Sauber in Hinwil, Switzerland.
Your mission
* Coordinate with design, prototype workshop, and project management regarding requirements and timelines
* Manage internal capacity, machine utilization, and scheduling with production
* Execute make-or-buy decisions
* Ensure external supply needs are met through existing suppliers
* Negotiate and procure prototype parts from external suppliers
* Process orders, track schedules, and escalate bottlenecks
* Align quality requirements with involved departments
* Coordinate with goods receiving, quality control, and accounting
* Manage rework for externally manufactured parts
Your profile
* Degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Technical Business Administration, or Mechanical Engineering with a manufacturing focus
* Several years of experience in operational purchasing, technical procurement, or production planning in an industrial setting
* Deep knowledge of make-or-buy processes, supplier communication, and scheduling
* Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle)
* Technical understanding of drawings, manufacturing processes, and procedures
* Knowledge of additive manufacturing processes is a plus
* Strong negotiation skills and organizational talent in cross-functional roles
* Excellent communication skills for collaboration with production, purchasing, and design teams
