We are looking for experienced CNC Lathe/Milling machine setter / operator to join our manufacturing team.
You will be working with various CNC controls and machines to manufacture precision parts both low and hi volume to a high-quality standard while maintaining the company's Heath & Safety requirements.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities
* Program, set or operate CNC lathes and milling machines
* Assist with selection of appropriate tooling including cutting data to achieve optimal cycle times
* Interpret engineering drawings to manufacture precision components
* Inspect and verify finished parts to ensure quality requirements are met using various measuring equipment
* Machine low and hi volume parts with a focus on accuracy
* Troubleshoot machining issues and contribute to process improvement
* Maintain production outputs & demands whilst keeping quality records
* Carry out routine preventative maintenance
* Assist cross training with fellow employees
* Adhere to all health and safety requirements

Required Criteria
* Minimum of 2 years proven experience in CNC turning and / or milling both operating and setting.
* Proficient in reading detailed engineering drawings.
* Experience working with large and small size components.
* Strong problem solving & organisational skills.
* Flexibility to work overtime should need arise.
* Good Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety regulations

Hours of work are flexible, desired minimum hours of 36 hours made up over Mon - Thur.
Overtime available at the weekend also

Pay: £19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
