Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced Credit Controller to their established finance team in Greater Glasgow. The Role As a key member of the credit control function, you’ll take responsibility for managing and reducing outstanding debt across a varied B2B portfolio. Working closely with both internal stakeholders and external clients, you’ll ensure invoices are paid on time, disputes are resolved quickly, and cash flow targets are achieved. Key Responsibilities: Manage a ledger of business-to-business (B2B) client accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices. Proactively chase overdue payments via phone, email, and written communication. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to promote good credit practices. Investigate and resolve payment queries and discrepancies. Work closely with sales and finance teams to ensure accurate billing and smooth account management. Monitor aged debt reports and provide regular updates to management. Achieve monthly and quarterly cash collection targets in line with business objectives. Support process improvement initiatives to streamline credit control operations. About You Minimum 5 years’ experience in a business-to-business (B2B) credit control environment. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding collection targets. Strong communication and negotiation skills with the confidence to engage at all business levels. Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and time management skills. Proficient with Excel and accounting / ERP systems. Positive attitude and team-player mindset – thrives in a collaborative, supportive environment.
