We are recruiting for a high-performing Trading Manager to help our business continue to grow and succeed. Ensuring our stores are fully stocked is key to providing a fantastic customer experience, which is why this role is so vital. The Trading Manager's responsibility is to provide the best availability and standards possible across all departments, ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will also:
1. Lead the team to the highest standards and strive to ensure the best shopping experience for every customer
2. Plan and organise current promotions and in-store events
3. Listen and respond to customer feedback and react accordingly
4. Ensure market-leading product availability across the store
5. Collaborate with other managers to lead a supportive and performance-driven department
6. Manage all people routines, including scheduling, absence, performance, and talent development
7. Deliver training to empower the team to perform confidently in their roles
8. Motivate colleagues to work confidently across various departments
9. Identify and develop talent within the department
10. Build effective relationships with other operational departments
11. Lead colleagues to work with purpose, achieving targets across the department
12. Take a leadership role within the store
13. Ensure resource planning is thorough
