This role offers the opportunity to develop and improve processes, tools, and equipment within manufacturing systems during the PDLM cycle, leading to predictable, reliable, stable, and efficient production processes. The Product Industrialization Engineering (PIE) team is part of the NPI project team and ensures the factory is ready to roll out NPIs.
Your Role:
* Be part of the Business Unit Diagnostic X Ray Systems (DXR), responsible for developing and releasing manufacturing processes for new products, focusing on quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
* Report to the Product Industrialization Engineering Manager of DXR and collaborate with R&D, quality, supply chain, catalog development, and manufacturing teams.
* Implement processes and standards in compliance with safety, regulatory, environmental requirements, and company policies.
* Ensure adherence to processes for product introductions, qualifications, and releases.
* Manage transfer processes and manufacturing requirements based on product specifications and R&D test requirements.
* Contribute to improving the manufacturability of new products.
* Design, implement, and validate manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment to ensure quality and efficiency.
* Prepare and release manufacturing documentation such as work instructions, PFMEA, and process validation documents.
* Manage M-BOM and routing master data until release to delivery.
* Establish inspection and test criteria for manufacturing Philips components and assemblies.
You're the right fit if:
* Have approximately 6 years of experience in a similar role, such as NPI or manufacturing transfer projects.
* Are located in The Netherlands.
* Have worked in a global environment for at least 3 years.
* Possess hands-on experience with tools like FMEA, 8D, SPC, RCA, and Lean Manufacturing.
* Are familiar with manufacturing fundamentals and quality management systems, preferably in the medical industry.
* Understand Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, and Test (DFMAT) principles.
* Have experience with PLM systems (preferably Windchill) and ERP systems (such as SAP).
* Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanics, or Industrial Engineering.
* Are open to occasional travel, though it is not a regular requirement.
* Communicate effectively in English and have strong interpersonal skills.
* Thrive in team environments, are self-driven, and have a continuous improvement mindset with a focus on results and quality.
