Home Instead Medway is recruiting Care Assistants in Gillingham, Rochester, Chatham, Strood & East Gravesend DA12 and surrounding areas. Part-time, (Weekdays & Alternate Weekends) Care Professional / Care Assistant. Full driving licence with access to a vehicle is essential to support our clients to the fullest and must be available to work alternate weekends. £13 - £14 per hour plus paid mileage.

Responsibilities
* Home Help & Light Housekeeping; help clients maintain independence by assisting with household chores.
* Personal Care; assistance with mobility, getting ready for the day, bathing, etc.
* Companionship; keep clients company and enjoy activities or trips around the local area.
* Other Support; medication reminders, help with shopping and additional support as needed.
* Care visits of one hour or more to allow thorough care without feeling rushed.
What we need from you
Available from 7am – 2pm and 4pm – 10pm evenings and alternate weekends and during weekdays. You are required to be a driver with a full UK licence and access to your own vehicle. This role covers Medway, Higham & Shorne as a Care Professional, providing a variety of non-medical services to help clients stay independent in their own home. You need at least 1 year of experience working in the care sector as a Care Assistant with older people, providing personal care, medication support, and other care needs.

* Day-to-day responsibilities may include: assisting with personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, accompanying to appointments, and companionship
