We work on the restoration, maintenance, and enhancement of classic engines, including Manufacturing Bristol engines and gearboxes, and create custom parts in our in-house machine shop. The Role and Responsibilities We are seeking a resolute Historic Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Nottingham. You will work on a variety of historic and prestigious vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and authenticity. Key Responsibilities Include : Performing maintenance and restoration on historic racing and road cars. Utilising specialist equipment and techniques as needed for classic vehicles. Collaborating with a team of skilled professionals to achieve project goals. Willingness to aid and guide younger team members, sharing your knowledge and experience. Upholding the reputation of INRacing by delivering excellent artisanry and diligence. Having the opportunity to attend and support race meetings during the race season, which typically runs from April to October. Requirements Proven experience as a mechanic. Strong diligence and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A flexible approach to work, adapting to the unique challenges of classicracing cars. Excellent critical thinking skills. Passion for motorsport and historic vehicles.
