Are you a passionate and reliable Sous Chef looking for a fresh opportunity in a calm, well-organised kitchen environment? We are recruiting a Sous Chef to support daily food preparation and service in a modern, well-maintained canteen setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations
Prepare and cook a variety of meals to a high standard
Maintain cleanliness and food safety across all prep and service areas
Support with menu planning, stock control, and ordering
Supervise kitchen staff and provide guidance where needed
Ensure a calm, respectful, and efficient working atmosphere at all times
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar Sous Chef or senior kitchen role
Valid Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and time management skills
Own transport is essential due to location
