As the UPS Power Quality Field Service Engineer, you will deliver exceptional service to Eatons customers. In this role, you will carry out preventative maintenance on Eaton-manufactured UPS systems and support existing installations to ensure optimal performance. You will play a key role in supporting hyperscale data center operations across the region.
Responsibilities:
* Perform fault diagnosis on UPS systems
* Work confidently with on-line and line-interactive UPS technologies
* Conduct preventative maintenance across an established customer base
* Commission and repair all UPS system types, including standalone and parallel configurations
* Set up and configure remote monitoring software
* Communicate technical information to key stakeholders
* Apply anti-static procedures consistently
* Follow the ECN process for all repairs
Qualifications:
* HNC or higher in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)
* Strong knowledge of three-phase electrical installation or maintenance
* Solid understanding ofUPS systems
* Familiarity with industrial communication protocols:Modbus, SNMP, OPC, DDE, TCP/IP
* Understanding ofPLC programming xsngvjr (power control, generator control, SCADA, process control)
