Fundraising and Digital & Offline Campaigns Assistant
THE EMPLOYER IS: THE BRAIN INJURY FOUNDATION The Fundraising and Digital & Offline Campaigns Assistant will help The Brain Injury Foundation raise awareness of its work and increase income to support brain injury survivors and their carers. Working closely with the Manager, the postholder will:
 * Create and deliver engaging fundraising and awareness campaigns, both online and within local communities.
 * Manage and update social media channels (e.g. Facebook, Instagram) and contribute to maintaining website content such as news stories, photos and event updates.
 * Support fundraising activities including online appeals, community events, raffles, sponsorship drives and partnerships with local businesses.
 * Design simple promotional materials such as flyers, posters, and short videos using accessible design tools.
 * Assist in recording and reporting campaign results, including social media engagement and fundraising outcomes.
 * Contribute creative ideas to increase participation and community support for the charity’s work.

Responsibilities
 * Creating and scheduling social media posts to promote activities, fundraising events and awareness campaigns.
 * Designing posters, flyers and short videos to support events and appeals.
 * Assisting with fundraising tasks, including online donation platforms, local sponsorship and community events.
 * Updating website content with news, stories, photos and service information.
 * Supporting charity events, helping with set-up, welcoming participants, taking photos and recording attendance.
 * Maintaining records of fundraising income, online engagement and volunteer hours.
 * Responding to routine enquiries by phone, email or social media.
 * Working collaboratively with staff, volunteers and members to share ideas for campaigns or activities.
Skills and Qualifications
 * Basic digital literacy - able to use email, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms such as Facebook or Instagram.
 * Good written and verbal communication skills - able to write short posts or messages clearly and appropriately.
 * Organisational skills - able to manage time, follow instructions and complete tasks reliably.
 * Willingness to develop new skills - open to training, feedback and new experiences.
 * Experience using Canva, CapCut, or other basic design or video tools.
 * Experience managing or contributing to social media pages for a club, group or small business.
 * Some knowledge of fundraising, marketing or community engagement.
 * Awareness of or interest in the local community and supporting people with disabilities or brain injuries.
 * Confidence using platforms such as Mailchimp, WordPress, or Eventbrite.
 * Experience in customer service, volunteering, or public-facing roles.
 * Demonstrated creativity through hobbies such as photography, writing, or design.
 * Any short online learning or voluntary experience related to communication, fundraising, or charity work.

Job Start opportunity – Working Hours Information: Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
