The government’s approach to digital and IT puts user needs at the heart of decision making. User researchers are key figures in digital delivery here in HSE.
User researchers plan, design and carry out research activities with internal and external users that help teams get a deep understanding of the people that use HSE services. This research informs policy, proposition, service, content and interaction design so that services work well for users and achieve policy intent.
You will be part of a relatively new Digital team within HSE’s Operational Services Division. The Digital team is made up of User Researchers, Interaction Designers, Product Managers and Digital Delivery Managers.
User Researchers in HSE support service teams by generating new and useful user insights, and work closely with interaction designers, product managers, content designers, business analysts and developers to build and iteratively improve services for users.
