Job Description:
Fidarsi is partnering with an established Wealth Manager to recruit a Training and Competency Manager. This role involves supporting the HR team by managing the training and competency department.
Responsibilities include:
* Implement and oversee an effective Training & Competency scheme
* Ensure employees have the tools for role compliance through proactive training support
* Maintain CPD records and liaise with training bodies and managers for renewals
* Manage relationships with training providers for in-house and external training, exams, and courses
* Collaborate with HR, Compliance, and Suitability units to maintain accurate training records
* Conduct annual competency assessments for investment managers
* Handle regulatory referencing, onboarding, and rescreening checks
* Assist with annual employee appraisals
* Coordinate new starter induction programs
* Manage internal and external online training programs
* Provide T&C Management Information for committees
* Train team members to cover absences
* Undertake ad hoc projects as required
* Administer annual appraisals for SMCR compliance and re-certification
* Organize and review mandatory training and assessments
* Participate in recruitment and talent management activities
* Design blended learning solutions and leadership programs
* Monitor regulatory changes and maintain HRIS data
* Organize FCA training compliance and facilitate face-to-face training sessions
Required skills and experience:
* Strong inter-departmental relationship management and influence skills
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
* Knowledge of FCA regulations (TC, SYSC, COBs, APER, FIT)
* Experience in a similar training or HR role
