Compliance Paralegal
London (4 days in office, 1 day WFH)

An exciting opportunity for a Compliance Paralegal to join one of our Elevate customers within a fast-paced, global commercial environment. This role is part of a dynamic compliance and legal function, supporting key onboarding, AML, and sanctions processes.
Ideal for a detail-oriented paralegal or compliance professional with experience in financial crime, KYC, and regulatory frameworks, this position offers strong exposure to high-value, cross-border business operations.
Key Requirements
* Experience supporting compliance or legal teams, ideally within financial services, commodities, or trading environments
* Strong working knowledge of KYC, AML, and financial crime compliance processes
* Experience conducting sanctions screening and interpreting results
* Familiarity with reviewing financial or trading-related agreements
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
* High attention to detail and analytical mindset
* Proactive, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
* Support onboarding processes for new partners, including collating KYC documentation and conducting AML checks
* Perform sanctions screening on counterparties using internal systems and tools
* Assist with the analysis and interpretation of compliance data to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
* Review financial agreements for commodity trading activities to ensure appropriate compliance controls are in place
* Collaborate closely with the wider compliance and legal teams on ongoing regulatory matters
* Maintain accurate records and ensure all compliance documentation is up to date
* Monitor workflows and follow up on outstanding compliance actions
