Legal Services Manager and Principal Contracts Lawyer
Full time | Flexible working arrangement | £70-80 per hour | Sellick Partnership are delighted to be recruiting for a Legal Services Manager and Principal Contracts Lawyer for a local authority in the East Midlands. The role will be until at least March 2026 with strong likelihood of extension.
Responsibilities
* Supervision and day to day management of the legal team
* Providing case management support on complex cases
* Assisting the monitoring officer and DMO with member related issues
* Attending meetings of Committees, sub-Committees and other meetings as required, including where appropriate in connection with disciplinary and grievance matters
* Negotiating agreements and contracts on behalf of the authority and contribute to the resolution of other strategic issues working with members and officers at all levels
* Holding a caseload of complex commercial contracts cases
This is a hybrid working role with office attendance required once a week.
