Account Manager – Fashion Overview
We’re partnering with a successful, growing London-based fashion business that’s expanding its commercial team and is now looking to appoint an Account Manager.
This role focuses on clothing, with responsibility for building, managing and growing key customer accounts. It’s a great opportunity to join a well-established company with a strong global footprint, where you’ll play a visible role in driving commercial success.
The position can be based in London or the Midlands, and experience working with M&S is essential.
The Role
As Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of customer relationships and be instrumental in identifying and developing new business opportunities. You’ll work closely with buyers, internal teams and factories to deliver commercially strong, trend-right product ranges.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively identify and create new business opportunities
* Lead customer meetings, confidently presenting and selling product ranges
* Secure orders and drive account growth
* Build strong, long-term relationships with buyers, with a clear understanding of their needs and expectations
* Spot opportunities for growth and act on them effectively
* Work closely with factories to ensure smooth product development and delivery
* Negotiate costs and maintain strong commercial margins
* Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity and customer insight
About You
* Proven experience working with M&S, either as an Account Manager or within a Buying capacity
* Strong commercial awareness with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
* Confident communicator, comfortable presenting and negotiating at buyer level
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
* A creative eye for product, trends and range building
