Woodhall & Glen Lodge Country Park are two parks located on the outskirts of Woodhall Spa, providing accommodation for Lodges, Cabins & Pods.
Role Description
As the Housekeeping Manager, you will provide leadership to the Housekeeping department and the Park to maximize operations and ensure that guests have an exceptional stay. The Manager is responsible for the smooth daily operations of the Housekeeping department and team.
Job Duties
1. Lead the daily operations of the Housekeeping department and support the Park.
2. Conduct training and hiring of new team members.
3. Collaborate with the Maintenance department to address accommodation defects.
4. Maintain close relationships with other departments, especially Front Office & Maintenance.
5. Inspect rooms and provide ongoing feedback to the team.
6. Ensure team members are aware of expectations in the Lodges & Toilet Blocks and that all cleaning is accurately reported.
7. Monitor supplies and materials, including linen, and request replenishments as needed.
8. Handle lost guest property appropriately.
9. Carry out opening and closing procedures.
10. Inspire and engage the team through effective leadership.
11. Promptly address guest comments and complaints.
12. Assist with staff scheduling to ensure all shifts are covered.
13. Maintain accommodation standards consistently.
14. Prepare work schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
16. Manage and maintain Hot Tubs according to standards, following SOPs, and recording data properly.
17. Attend Park management meetings and record relevant information.
18. Ensure all Housekeeping staff have up-to-date risk assessments, health & safety advice, and COSHH training.
