Simple Recruitment are looking for a Nursery Deputy Manager / Room Leader for a permanent opportunity with our client in Bath.
The Job:
Our client is looking for an experienced practitioner who is passionate about leading high-quality early years practice while supporting the professional development of the wider staff team. This role combines the responsibilities of leading a room with supporting the Nursery Manager and wider leadership team, in maintaining high standards across the setting.
The Deputy Manager / Room Leader will work closely with the Nursery Manager and senior leadership team to support the overall quality of provision within the nursery.
While the primary focus of the role is leading practice within the room and supporting staff development. The successful candidate will also contribute to maintaining compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety requirements.
The successful candidate will play an important role in coaching and mentoring practitioners, modelling best practice and supporting a culture of reflective practice within the nursery.
Key Priorities for the Role:
* Leading practice within the room and modelling high-quality, child-centred early years education and care
* Coaching, mentoring and supporting the development of practitioners within the team
* Supporting the Nursery Manager in maintaining high standards across the setting
* Building strong partnerships with parents and families
* Ensuring safeguarding and wellbeing are embedded in everyday practice
* Supporting reflective practice and continuous improvement within the team
The Salary: £29,952 – £33,696 depending on qualification level and experience in role.

* A strong understanding of safeguarding and regulatory requirements
