Science ECT An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Science ECT to join a thriving secondary school in Hodge Hill this September. Key Details Role: Science ECT Location: Hodge Hill Start Date: September 2025 Salary: MPS1 – £31,650 Contract Type: Permanent GCSE Science Pass Rate: 79% (Grades 9–4) in 2024 The Role You’ll be joining a dynamic Science department with a proven track record of student achievement. As a Science ECT, you’ll deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to develop into KS5 teaching in future. The role includes full support from an experienced team that values collaboration, innovation, and academic excellence. The Candidate We’re looking for a Science ECT who: Is currently completing their teacher training in a Science specialism (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) Has excellent subject knowledge and a love for practical science Delivers exciting and accessible lessons that engage young minds Thrives in a team-focused, forward-thinking department Is ready to make a real impact from day one The School This ‘Good’ secondary school in Hodge Hill is known for its inclusive ethos, positive culture, and commitment to high standards.
