About the Role
This is a full-time, fixed-term position starting in November 2025 (or January 2026 if notice is required). The successful candidate will join an experienced Design & Technology department and will be responsible for delivering high-quality Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school is a co-educational secondary state school with a Good Ofsted rating.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons

Ensure strong student progress through effective assessment and feedback

Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment with a focus on food hygiene and safety
*
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
*
Take part in school-wide activities and events
Ideal Candidate Profile
*
Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
*
Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management skills
*
Committed to student development and inclusive education
*
Works well independently and as part of a team
