HGV Class 2 Driver – Builders Merchants (Various Areas)
We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Class 2 HGV Driver to join a well-established builders merchants in the Belfast area. This role is offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis, providing an opportunity for long-term employment for the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle in accordance with all safety and regulatory requirements
2. Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers and business locations
3. Adhere to all relevant road traffic laws and industry regulations
4. Maintain a high standard of professionalism when interacting with clients and colleagues
5. Conduct vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly
Requirements:
6. Possession of a valid HGV Class 2 Licence
7. Current CPC & Tachograph Card
8. In-depth understanding of road networks, traffic laws, and driving hours regulations
9. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment
10. Strong commitment to health, safety, and operational excellence
Remuneration:
11. Competitive hourly rate of £15.00 PH
12. Full-time schedule: Monday to Friday, commencing at 7:30 AM
