Our full-service legal client is looking for an experienced and motivated Legal Administrator to provide comprehensive support to their Private Client team in Dunblane.
Key Responsibilities
* Draft and prepare correspondence and legal documents from digital dictation.
* Handle incoming calls, take messages, and assist clients visiting the office.
* Manage diaries and schedule appointments.
* Maintain and organize files (both physical and electronic) using client management software.
* Open and close files, ensuring documents are sent to the central depository for storage.
* Assist with Anti-Money Laundering checks using designated systems.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a legal secretary within a legal environment, including document production.
* Excellent communication skills with a professional approach to clients, partners, and colleagues.
* Fast and accurate audio and copy typing.
* Proficiency in email communication.
* Strong knowledge of track changes and mail merge.
* Confident in using office equipment (photocopiers, scanners, etc.).
* Competent in Excel, including spreadsheets and mail merge.
* Ability to work collaboratively and take direction from all levels of legal staff, from partners to trainees.
* Pleasant telephone manner and ability to assist clients with queries.
Fluency in Italian is an advantage but not essential.
