Corporate Tax Compliance, Managed Services - Manager
A key focus for KPMG's GCT team is to help multinational groups and financial services clients manage their global tax compliance, reporting, and statutory accounting obligations through outsourcing, co-sourcing, transformation, and technology. Our team is at the end of this description.
Our Corporate Tax Compliance business comprises dedicated specialists working with our technology platform and advisory teams to serve a diverse client base, including global and large domestic compliance clients with complex tax profiles. We are growing rapidly, making it an exciting time to join us.
We seek talented Managers with good UK Corporate Tax Compliance experience, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to develop junior staff and deliver excellent client service.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and high-quality tax computations, finalization, and submission to HMRC.
* Keep clients informed about developments in Corporate Tax, including new legislation implications.
* Oversee junior colleagues' work, providing coaching and technical guidance.
* Identify and resolve complex technical issues, involving specialists as needed.
* Respond to ad hoc technical advice requests and coordinate with specialists.
* Build positive relationships within your team, across KPMG, and with clients.
* Support clients with group reporting and tax audit work.
* Manage team operations, performance, coaching, career development, and technical support.
* Follow KPMG best practices and policies.
* Enhance KPMG's reputation through quality work, knowledge, and experience.
Knowledge and Experience:
* Strong UK Corporation Tax experience, including reviewing computations and acting as a client liaison.
* Knowledge of tax accounting (FRS 102, IFRS desirable).
* Analytical skills, curiosity, and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
* Responsibility and accountability for own work.
* High drive, enthusiasm, and positive attitude.
* Teamwork and organizational skills, including managing timetables and budgets.
