Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 HGV Driverto join our team.
The successful candidate will be operating a Skip Lorry and/or a Roll on Roll off Lorry.
Experience in one or more listed vehicle is required.
Pay Equivalent from £14.31 PH
Overtime after 45 hours at £20 PH
Paid Breaks
Overtime Pay and weekend work readily available
Responsibilities
1. To use the vehicle safely and efficiently whilst driving, loading, unloading or tipping
2. To work closely with other team members to ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, management systems and regulations, e.g. ensuring you use the required PPE at all times
3. To communicate effectively with Weighbridge and Yard team members, line managers and Directors
4. To adhere to delivery schedules and routes as planned by the transport manager, and to report any problems faced during your route
5. To represent the company in a respectful and courteous manner when dealing with customers, clients and contractors
6. To stay compliant with tacho in respect to EU driving hours and the working time directive
7. To ensure your vehicle is well looked after, ensure your daily vehicle walk around checks are completed and any defects are reported
