We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Acute Oncology Cancer Support Worker.
You will work mainly at EDGH Hospital and be expected to cross cover where needed.
Working with Acute Oncology to improve the patient experience, you will coordinate referrals to ensure that patients are seen promptly and by the most appropriate person.
Responsibilities

* Work mainly at EDGH Hospital and be expected to cross cover where needed.
* Collaborate with Acute Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialists and provide support as part of a friendly, supportive team.
* Inspire others to deliver the highest standards of patient care.
Qualifications
* Experience or knowledge of cancer is beneficial but not essential.
* Background in healthcare is welcome but transferable skills and a willingness to learn are equally important.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, enthusiasm, and a commitment to inclusivity and kindness.
