Nurture Teachers - Salford
£26 - £30 per hour (PAYE). Flexible Hours | 1:1 Teaching | Immediate Start.
Are you a qualified teacher with a passion for making a difference outside of the traditional classroom? We are looking for dedicated, trauma-informed Nurture Teachers to work 1:1 with children and young people in Salford who are currently not accessing mainstream education.
Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored education to students with SEND, SEMH, and EBSA needs in safe, community-based environments, including libraries, community hubs, schools, and occasionally in the student’s home (fully risk-assessed and safeguarded).
* Build positive, one-to-one relationships and help learners re-engage with education in a safe, supported way.
Requirements
* QTS or recognised equivalent teaching qualification (essential).
* Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
* Experience working with students with SEND, SEMH, and EBSA.
* Trauma-informed and relationship-led teaching approach.
* Ability to work independently and adapt teaching to individual needs.
