Job Description
3. Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts to support decision-making processes.
4. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure financial objectives are met.
5. Oversee the reconciliation of balance sheets and maintain accurate records of financial data.
6. Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors as required.
7. Provide insightful financial reports and commentary to key stakeholders within the organisation.
8. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
9. Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
10. Contribute to the continuous development of financial systems and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
11. ACA/ ACCA /CIMA qualified - This role is perfect for 1st time movers.
12. Previous experience within related sectors.
13. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
14. Excellent communication skills to present financial information clearly and concisely.
15. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
16. Preference to candidates with IFRS16 and lease accounting experience.
