The Role
Produce a range of artisan breads, pastries and baked goods following recipe cards and quality standards
Mix, knead, shape, prove and bake : ensuring consistency, precision and creativity
Monitor oven temperatures, dough development and baking times to deliver perfect results
Maintain clean, organised workspaces and uphold the highest food hygiene and safety standards
Work closely with the Head Baker and Bakery Supervisor to support day:to:day production
Contribute to new recipe ideas and seasonal specials
Take ownership of your section and play a key role in the growth of the team and bakery
About you
Previous experience as a Baker, Bread Baker or Pastry Baker (minimum 1 year)
Strong practical skills in dough handling, shaping and baking
A genuine passion for artisan baking and craftsmanship
Good knowledge of food hygiene, CCPs and kitchen safety
Reliable, organised and ready to work early shifts when needed
A team player with the energy, ambition and drive to grow into a senior role
